World Class Grill

Bottom Line: Yes, I recommend

I grill every weekend, when the weather allows. This grill has everything I need. It is great for searing steaks. The even cooking really makes it easy to utilize the entire grate for cooking hamburgers or chicken. The indirect cooking allow me to cook chicken without turning them. I cooked a rib-roast for Christmas and it turned out great. The side burner really is a plus.

Bottom Line: Yes, I recommend

Excellent quality grill. Used at least weekly for all meats and veggies. Three burners get temp to 600F for excellent searing. Grates clean easily. You must get used to working hot/warm burners front to back rather than side to side. Ignitor has never failed. Stays covered on open patio when not in use; finish is still new.

Hello,

I will start this review by telling you that this grill ROCKS. It is my first grill from Weber. My previous grills have all been Kenmore.  This grill came delivered as promised!  The delivery company that Amazon uses is ABS. They were great, and I appreciated the service. Kudos to them for the prompt delivery service. The grill came in a pretty big box weighing about 190 lbs. I put it together in my living room and carried it outside before installing the Left Side Table and Right Burner Assembly. You cannot lift the grill using these two points when installed, but have a good anchor point beforehand.  Anyway .. EVERYTHING Weber uses in this grill is fantastic. It’s quality…. I would have liked to see Weber have a piece of stripping wrapped around the circle on the Bottom Panel where the LP tank would sit. I think condensation would transfer from the tank over time and rust the panel. I will head out to the local hardware store to purchase this to act as a barrier. I also would like a shelf inside the cabinet to sit some things on… It does not have that, but no big deal….. I like this grill and KNOW it will give me countless hours of grilling possibilities…

I’m 54 years old and have been grilling since my Dad thought I was old enough to hold a spatula. I currently own a wood pellet grill, a charcoal grill and I have an old Weber Silver gas grill that I’ve had for 9 years. It still works. We currently have that grill up at our lake lot. I’m getting ready to retire and wanted a grill that was going to last, so I decided to purchase the 2011 Weber E320 propane grill from Amazon.com. WOW is all I can say. In my opinion this is the Cadillac of gas grills. As other reviewers have stated, it takes a while to assemble but it is well worth it.  I don’t know if I had to, but I seasoned the grill grate before I first cooked.
The first meal I made was baked red potatoes, steamed broccoli and Ahi Tuna steaks. I started the grill on the 1/4 setting and baked the potatoes for about 40 minutes. Then I moved the potatoes to the warming rack on the right and cranked the two left burners on high. Once the grill got to 550 F. I put on the Ahi steaks. At the same time I put my steamer on the side burner. I seared the Ahi for 3 minutes on each side. I was able to remove the potatoes, Ahi, and broccoli all at the same time and everything turned out perfect! This thing is versatile to say the least and if you take care of it this grill it will last a long, long time. Needless to say I highly recommend this grill!
